Abstract
I am pleased to mention that during the year 2019, all issues of volume 14 were published online well within the time and the print issues were also brought out and released within 30 days.
Journal of orthopaedics trauma surgery and related research during this year also brought out joint event on 12th international conference on arthroplasty, and 12th international conference on orthopedics, osteoporosis and trauma and 13th international conference on arthritis and rheumatology and 3rd international conference on anatomy and physiology, which consisted of ~ 50 abstracts.
the JCR impact factor of JOTSRR for the year 2018 was 0.105. The h-index of the journal is 3.0 and JOTSRR is currently working on it to maintain the value. and index copernicus value of JOTSRR is 105.38. JOTSRR is a journal of polish society of orthopaedics and traumatology. JOTSRR is indexed in multiple good indexing sites such as China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Road Directory of Open Access Scholarly Resources, Open J Gate, Publons, MIAR, GBL, University Grants Commission and previously it was indexed in Scopus, Embase/EXPERTA MEDICA in the year of 2016.

The aim of this journal is to supply a platform for explorers and academicians everywhere the globe to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and advancements in several areas of orthopaedics trauma surgery like bone research, arthritis surgery, musculoskeletal system, musculoskeletal oncology, bone surgery, orthodontics and endodontics, malignantosteoid, osteosarcoma, ewing’s sarcoma, metastatic bone cancer, adamantinoma, osteonecrosis, primary bone tumors, tumours of bone, primary bone tumors, secondary bone tumors, enchondroma, aneurysmal bone cyst, giant cell tumor of bone, cryosurgery, osteoma, fibrous dysplasia of bone, osteochondrodysplasia, osteocartilaginous exostoses. it is basically aimed toward the clinical practitioners, therapeutic/health practitioners, scholars, experts and researchers, and professional bodies and institutions.
During the calendar year 2019, JOTSRR received a total of 62 papers, out of which 35 articles were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format and peer review process. During 2019 around 27 articles were subjected for publication after they are accepted in the peer review process. In the 6 issues of volume 14 published during the year 2019, a total of 27 articles were published (at an average of 8 articles per issue) of which articles were published from authors all over the world. A total of 130 research scientists from all over the world reviewed the 36 articles published in volume 14. The average publication lag time of writing was further reduced to 2-3 weeks.
During the calendar year 2019, a total of 23 editors, 130 reviewers joined the board of JOTSRR and contributed their invaluable services towards contribution as well as publication of articles.
I take this occasion to support the contribution of Dr. Tomasz Bielecki during the final editing of articles published and the support rendered by the editorial assistant, (Jennifer Stewart) in bringing out issues of JOTSRR in time. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of JOTSRR, the office bearers for their support in bringing out yet another volume of JOTSRR and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the volume 15 of JOTSRR in scheduled time.
