Craniocerebral injuries are the most frequent cause of death and long-term disability in people under 25 years of age. Most often they arise as a result of traffic accidents, and thus often they are the components of multiple and multiorgan bodily injuries. Due to its specificity, epidemiology is also a big medical and social problem. Properly provided prehospital care significantly increases the chances of reversing the negative effects of serious craniocerebral injuries in the injured.
