Diagnostic difficulties in patients with a stab wound of the heart

The authors present their experience in the treatment of the patient with stab wound. The reason for late recognition of this injury (durig thoracotomy) bleeding from the chest drain. This unusual bleeding pattern was caused by the value created in the heart wound.
