Botulin toxin application in patients of Clinic of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, Medical School of Lublin

The aim of this study was the clinical analyze of botuline injections as the element of physical therapy of patients suffering from spastics due to CNS lesions. Clinical material included 20 cases (age between 16-70yrs). Botuline was administered once or in cycles (max 4 inj. per cycle). Patients were monitored from 2 weeks to 12 months after administration of botuline. We observed a high efficiency of botuline injections as a part of combined therapy of patient with CNS lesions and spastic pareses.
